The SMT Durometer is available in 6 different lofts , there is a SMT Durometer wedge here to meet every golfers needs. The hosels are slightly tapered for extra feel.
What makes these SMT Durometer wedges really unique is the special Durometer insert in the hosel. The Durometer is a cut out section of the hosel filled with a vibration dampening rubber compound. The Insert gives a fluid feel and reduction in vibration on off center hits.
Faces are CNC machined to be absolutely flat, and the score lines are milled- typical of the quality you expect from SMT.
The amout of spin they give is like cheating! The wedge face is like wood file, people will ask you if they are
legal, they are!

Six different wedges in each set are available in either the black insert, which we call the player series, or the green insert, which we refer to as the pro series. The black insert player series is the softer of the two inserts and can absorb up to 14% of the shock of impact. The green insert is Pro series, and is a bit more firm feeling and will absorb up to 4% of the impact. The wedges for each series are exactly the same; the only difference is the shock reducing insert that is in the back of the hosel. SMT have also gone one step further by using the same 303 soft stainless steel that they use in their irons, but have made the wedges slightly heavier.
