Europe Outplayed by Strong US team in the Ryder Cup
The United States team made a strong statement over Europe in the 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straights. With a 19-9 victory over Europe, it was clear to see that Europe were out played.
United States showed there dominance throughout the weekend, leading from the morning session on Friday all the way through to the closing singles on Sunday. They were a strength to behold and the putts fell for them more regularly than the Europeans!
What does this mean for future events? With many of the US team Ryder Cup rookies and in the prime of their career, many are likely to play in future years. Will Europe need to change their selection process for the team? Put less focus on having the old guard on the team and bring in more new blood? Only time will tell!
We will need to look forward to the next chapter of the coveted trophey!
