Taylormade Stealth: A big move for 2022

The first couple of months of the year are always exciting for golf fans. New equipment starts surfacing on tour & that means that very soon it will be available in all retail golf stores. One of the new launches that has certainly caught a lot of traction over the past 2 or so weeks is the new Taylormade Stealth series.

Taylormade have not just made a small tweak to this years model, they have totally changed the driver itself. Making the switch from Titanium to a 60 piece Carbon face, in what they are claiming will be their fastest driver to date. Visually, the driver & woods are very nice. A more traditional look at address with an all black head but with a red & black spotted face, the Stealth is going to unquestionably stand out from the others both in person & on TV.

The jump to Carbon is a big one, we are looking forward to doing some in-house testing vs it’s old counterpart the Sim 2. While initial reviews on Youtube seem to say there isn’t much difference, we think a deep delve into the 2 models will show a substantial difference when comparing the strikes out of the toe & heel. Across the duration of a season, this additional forgiveness will be priceless off the tee!

Gamola Golf will be due the fitting components for the Stealth series at the tail end of January / start of February. We look forward to testing these & more importantly begin fitting everyone for them!
